Thankful Days

It's been a while, but we're still here. I've been really busy, ill with flu & hit by a few winter blues(it's cold in London!), but feeling good, blessed and thankful! Today is Thanksgiving (which is not really celebrated in the UK), so Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate this day and visit our blog. Whether you celebrate it or not, it's good to stop, take a minute and appreciate ALL that you have been blessed with on this earth! I am so thankful for every waking moment spent with my family and the people I have encountered on my journey in life!! I was surprised when viewing my stats, to see how many people actually take a moment to browse this blog!! Although many of do not "officially" follow me, I would just like to say thank you for stopping by!

It has been a busy couple of weeks...we styled a Beep Beep Racing Car themed birthday party for the cutest little one year-old... full details & pics coming soon!

And we have also been baking, baking and baking, decorating, decorating and decorating! I can't wait to share with you my recipe for a Lemon Blueberry Pound Cake, which was heavenly. It was lovely as a warm pudding with a dollop of lemon cream & additional fresh blueberries, and then just as good with my afternoon cup of coffee! I will post this soon, as I have been trying to put the tutorial images together, so please keep checking the blog.

Here are just a few treats to share...

Red Velvet Cupcakes with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting. Red Velvet seems to have been our number one flavour this month with 7 requests for this sponge!

Afternoon Tea assortments with, Raspberry Ripple Cupcake (NEW), Cookie Crumble Cupcake and Nutty Choc Cupcakes

This cake did not sit too well, as we have the most loyal Chelsea fan in the house! Boy, was the hubby glad to see this Vanilla Bean sponge cake out the door LOL!
And Vanilla Bean Cupcakes to go with the cake.

Sweet 1 year-old treats in Vanilla Bean sponge, decorated in Candy Pink & Lime Green, sugar paste flower & a mini smarties!

We are counting down to Christmas and I spent an afternoon with my girls decorating some Christmas themed cupcakes with Angels and snowflakes...

So, we're working on our final project for 2011, a Disney Princess themed birthday party, which I can't wait to style! From soft pinks & purples, apple greens & hints of gold; tulle & organza's, tiaras & twinkles, this will sure bring out the princess in you!

So once again, we say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU...Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Stylish Wishes & 2 Kisses!!
