Two Days to Tea-Day

The Pretty In Pink Tea Party is fast approaching and our "details" are taking shape...
PINK, PINK..am I tired of Thinking Pink...NO!! I love PINK and I am beginning to learn and understand more about the Breast Cancer Awareness Cause. It is one powerful cause that has spread and needs to continue to grow to beat this dreadful disease.  I admire all those who have pulled through this disease and continue to pray for all those battling Cancer. Something to share as we have fun fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness, let us remember those living each day with the disease:  http://www.essence.com/news_entertainment/news/articles/sophia_nelson_breast_cancer_commentary

Today we picked up the little treats for the goodie bags.

There's more to go in our PINK bags for the ladies!! More pics to follow

Our mountain of checklists has grown, all in line to execute a FAB day!!!

Thankfully the Cancer Research materials have arrived in time, before the Postal Strike!!

We'll have some details for you tomorrow in the meantime...Gabrielle Union went as far as Ghana last year, to take their Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign beyond the USA...Gabby Goes to Ghana- Essence.com

What will you do towards helping any Charity?

The Count Down to Tea-Day

It's been a busy 2 days collecting all sorts. We've picked the shades of pink that we will be using for the colour scheme for the Pretty in Pink Tea Party. After sifting through 6 shelves with pink ribbons in various widths and tones, from luscious velvets to sheer chiffons, we've settled on a satin bubblegum pink, satin candy pink, and a raw silk raspberry pink...

Its all about the details, and the tones and I stumbled across some cool recycled paper with pink flower and butterfly details and some sheer hot pink paper...

We have these cute tea lights holders...a bargain buy from Ikea. Thinking Pink...

Some chic plates for some chic ladies...

Pink and white balloon ribbon, to add some flavour to the balloons.

A little sneak peak...Think Pink

That's it for now, as we move on to tomorrow...goodie bags & the printed Menu!!! Oh yes...and the PINK sweets!
