Starting Christmas in Style, The CocktailCouture Way
The Diva's dazzled on Saturday night and truly started their festive season in style...
10 lucky ladies were spoilt in the plush and relaxing surroundings of Canary Wharf. Crabtree & Evelyn closed the store for a personal VIP shopping and pampering experience from luxury goody bags to discounted shopping, fine wine to traditional mince pies, relaxing hand massages to indulgent nail treatments, CocktailCouture and Rolandas and his team ensured every guest was taken care of upon their arrival!
Hmmm...decisions, decisions!!!
My sister couldn't make up her mind, so she bought the whole table! Just kidding!!
Dinner at The Parlour Cocktail Lounge... (pics coming soon)
Although it was slightly hard to tear them away from the store, the ladies made their way to dinner at the chic and stylish Parlour Cocktail Lounge and sampled Apple & Honey Margarita's to Mango Mojito's. Uplifting & Inspiring Conversation were on the evenings agenda, with personal, inspiring introductions from each guest, with Becky's words being truly inspiring..."When God made each one of us, he was showing off!"
The signature CocktailCouture Events quizz, proved to be a challenge and well done to Florence who won the quizz and we hope you enjoy the pampering prize!! All in all, a FAB night was enjoyed by all, with the indulgent warm Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice-cream and the old fashioned Knickerbocker Glory bringing the night to a sweet ending!
It truly was a pleasure to be in the company of such positive women, who appreciate life and all the blessings that have been bestowed upon them!
We pampered, inspired and entertained...and look forward to welcoming you to a CocktailCouture experience!

Pamper Treats at the Crabtree & Evelyn Store...
I had already started my shopping and the night had only just begun...I just couldn't resist! The Crabtree & Evelyn Store, Canary Wharf has a friendly, warm welcoming team, who catered to our shopping and pampering needs. My hand massage began with the Gardeners Hand Scrub with Pumice to exfoliate the hands (yes, the hands need a little scrub & TLC too!) and was finished of with Gardeners Hand Therapy Cream with was really relaxing and left my hands silky soft.

Dinner at The Parlour Cocktail Lounge... (pics coming soon)
Although it was slightly hard to tear them away from the store, the ladies made their way to dinner at the chic and stylish Parlour Cocktail Lounge and sampled Apple & Honey Margarita's to Mango Mojito's. The Dazzling Diva Christmas Event
Christmas is fast approaching, which means Christmas parties, loads of "food sampling" (what we define as eating bitsize pieces of almost everything on everyones' plate at lunches or dinners), mince pies...yum, gift shopping, shopping queues and more shopping queues...so we thought why not have a Christmas Dinner with a twist! Why not give yourself your own Christmas present starting with Pamper Treats, where you'll pamper yourself, learn all about Hand Therapy treatments, do a spot of Christmas shopping, and maybe squeeze in an Express mani, in a chic and relaxed environment sipping on fine wine and yummy treats...Tempting right?! But the night doesn't stop there, join us for an exquisite dinner and sexy cocktails at one of Canary Wharf's chicest restaurants, The Parlour Cocktail Lounge. What's in store...fine food; games with FAB prizes, we have another Jo Malone gift set to give away; goody bags and uplifting conservsation. Join us as we share our ups and downs and unique experiences of 2009, maybe a few tears here and there, but definitely loads of laughter and Christmas cheer!!!! And we managed to capture over 10 shades of PINK in this event design from Bright Pink, Cerise, Cerise Pink, Fuschia, Baby Pink, Magenta, Bubblegum Pink, French Rose, Amaranth, Cherry Blossom Pink, Rose, Rose Pink, to Dark Pink...What's your PINK?
The saffron event details are coming soon...hmmm shall we team up Saffron with Black, Saffron with Orange, Saffron with Sage...whatever it is we'll make it unique, chic and stylish, just like this treasured pair of Nina Ricci Pumps!!! Don't you just love these?!

Post Tea-Day
Sorry, it's been a while, but with all these wintry germs floating around, they manged to get a hold of me, but for not for too long, I'm up and about again!! And boy has winter kicked in...Luckily the cold had not quite set the weekend of the Pretty in Pink Tea Party.
Here are some pics from the Pretty in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Tea Party, at the Greenwich Heritage Centre, The Royal Arsenal...
A big Thank-you to the ladies who attended and an even bigger Thank-you to: Tessa, the Cancer Research Representative, who is an amazing and very inspiring woman. We learnt all about Breast Cancer Awareness and how Cancer Research applies the funds raised, support networks and the correct way to check the breast for lumps, the ladies also had a chance to have a one-on-one chat with her. Our exhibitors: Antoinette, owner of Nuvivi; Mercedez, owner of Beauty Reigns; Noreen, owner of Radical Leap; and Tapiwa owner of Nakai who took part in the event, you are all truly blessed and amazing women!!
The goodie bags were a treat, packed with Neal's Yard Remedies goodies, Estee Lauder perfume, Nuvivi natural soaps and a special gift bag with heavenly scented tissue from L'occitane.
Another BIG Thank-you to Crabtree and Evelyn for the amazing gifts for the Beauty Raffle. Winners of the raffle will be announced next week...Good Luck!!!

Two Days to Tea-Day
The Pretty In Pink Tea Party is fast approaching and our "details" are taking shape...
PINK, PINK..am I tired of Thinking Pink...NO!! I love PINK and I am beginning to learn and understand more about the Breast Cancer Awareness Cause. It is one powerful cause that has spread and needs to continue to grow to beat this dreadful disease. I admire all those who have pulled through this disease and continue to pray for all those battling Cancer. Something to share as we have fun fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness, let us remember those living each day with the disease: http://www.essence.com/news_entertainment/news/articles/sophia_nelson_breast_cancer_commentary

The Count Down to Tea-Day
It's been a busy 2 days collecting all sorts. We've picked the shades of pink that we will be using for the colour scheme for the Pretty in Pink Tea Party. After sifting through 6 shelves with pink ribbons in various widths and tones, from luscious velvets to sheer chiffons, we've settled on a satin bubblegum pink, satin candy pink, and a raw silk raspberry pink...
Its all about the details, and the tones and I stumbled across some cool recycled paper with pink flower and butterfly details and some sheer hot pink paper...
That's it for now, as we move on to tomorrow...goodie bags & the printed Menu!!! Oh yes...and the PINK sweets!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
It's October, and that means it's all about the PINK...it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. CocktailCouture is hosting a Pretty in Pink Tea Party on Saturday 31st October to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. (check out www.cocktailcouture.co.uk). It has been a busy month putting together this FAB event, and every step has been exciting. As we approach Tea-day, we will try keep you posted daily on the fun challenges in executing this event!!!
Sat/Sun become one as the weekend always flies by...so tomorrow's an early start...sourcing all sorts of PINK sweeties for the Candy Buffet; sample some Cocktails, whilst finalising our menu of home-made Tea-time treats...mmmmm. Bye-bye healthy eating for this week!! Making up the PINK goodie bags and selecting the various shades of pink that we will be working with to style this event!
I will post pics of my findings tomorrow! In the meantime, Let's Think Pink...

Bye-bye healthy eating for this week!! Making up the PINK goodie bags and selecting the various shades of pink that we will be working with to style this event!
